Great Starts Birth & Family Education is a
program of Parent Trust for Washington Children, a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization, and depends on donations to supplement income from class
tuition, book sales, and conference fees.
When you support Parent Trust and Great Starts, you help provide
families in the greater Seattle area with quality objective childbirth
and parenting education.

Parent Trust for Washington Children
depends on the generosity of people like you to help fund our programs
and services. All donations are tax-deductible and very much
appreciated.
Donations may be designated for specific programs, such as Great Starts
childbirth education. Unrestricted donations are applied to the Parent
Trust programs most in need of financial support or development.
Many employers match the charitable donations of their employees. Be
sure to ask your employer about matching your donation to Parent Trust.
Workplace Campaigns
You can help support us through direct
donations as well as through payroll pledge deductions with workplace
giving campaigns. We participate in workplace giving through United Way,
the Combined Fund Drive, and the Combined Federal Campaign. Great Starts
will only receive donations which are donor designated. You can be sure
that Great Starts will receive the donation if you designate it for
Parent Trust for Washington Children, Tax I.D. Number
91-1036940.

In-kind donations can also be arranged.
Gifts of computers, televisions, office equipment or services

In order to maintain the lowest
possible administrative costs, we use an extensive pool of volunteers to
staff our education committee, as well as to help with mailings and
other periodic tasks. Put your time and talent to work!
