Infant & Child CPR

This "Heartsavers" CPR class is for parents, grandparents, childcare providers, and others wanting to learn infant and child CPR (for children up to age 8). Topics include risk factors, healthy heart living, infant and child CPR and choking rescue techniques.

Participants receive an American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Basic Life Support certificate, if desired.

Please do not bring babies to this class. It is all hands-on learning and practice, which is difficult to do when caring for baby's needs. Also, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for the class, you will not be able to qualify for the AHA certificate.

Class is offered monthly at Children’s Hospital facility at 70th and Sand Point Way. 3 hours. The course is offered in collaboration with Children’s Hospital.

Students who want a more broad-based review of infant and child safety, and who do not need a CPR certification, may want to consider our Babysafe class.
